Hey Everybody,

I was directed to this site by a guy on the cuda -challenger forum. I currently live in PA, but I'm originally from Maryland. I have always loved Barracudas. My uncle had a 1967 Barracuda Formula S with a 273 and a 4 speed. I never saw the car in person as the engine mounts rotted out and he got rid of the car before I was born. When I started looking for a car, I found a 67 Barracuda on craigslist for $6,500. I couldn't afford it and I have regretted it ever since. Now I'm on the hunt for a 67 Barracuda with a 383. Hopefully this site can help me find such a car.

Be patient and buy the right car when it shows up - learn all you can while you're looking and write the plan for your 'dream build' Welcome to FABO! :)

I totally agree with the previous writer. Actually getting on this site BEFORE buying the car may be the best procedure. You've got a good idea of the car you want, now read everything you can about the car. Whether you buy the car through eBay or directly, check the prices on eBay every couple of days and you will soon get a good idea what the car is worth.

Good luck.

Well MOPARS @ Carlisle Fairgrounds are coming up soon starting 7/10 which is in your backyard, York, PA!!!...Could start your search there but prices are generally inflated. Good Luck!

like they said, knowledge is the KEY!! learn all you can about what the car was OEM, what people do to build a replica, how to determine what is a GOOD car or project, learn what the real world price or value is of restored and projects, determine your actual ability and determination, tools, space, to build, r estore a c ar,.... etc etc it is a fun hobby but not simply.

Welcome to FABO!!!

I grew up in Waynesboro. Bought my first car, a 1972 Duster at the original Manheim auction for $400.

Like everyone said, keep looking, you'll find your car!! I found my second 66 barracuda using dailylister.com It searches all of Craigslist. Certainly you want to use the normal precautions using Craigslist.

I couldn't agree more but.. I was blown away at some of the good deals on 67-9 barracudas last year. Late(r) Saturday and Sunday are probably the best days to wheel and deal.
