It is looking pretty good, but will look awesome after cut and buff. It's EV2 Hemi Orange Poly. More pics will follow once I get the motor fired. I'm trying to get it put together for a Cruise In two weeks from now.

Very Exciting. This about five years of work and bank rolling the project. I can't wait to drive it.

I want it. It's slick as hell and I love the wheel and tire setup. It looks menacing from the rear. Can't wait to see it all together!

Not too shabby. Looks like single stage? What paint is on it?

Not a single stage, it's a base clear, PPG Omni Line. I have had the intention of cutting and buffing it from the start, so he piled on the clear 4-5 coats. It's a bit grainy, my buddies booth is not the best. It's an old Cross flow with not very good air flow. It will be like glass when I'm done with it.

That explains why it looks like single stage now. That's the beauty of clear though isn't it? Should look like glass after a cut and buff.

looks good... just had a thought just now,
Has anyone ever run that SS 68' dart look on the rear fender wells on 70+ darts?
love those 68 SS darts they look aggressive and MEAN...

What are those wheels?

I still need to find some matching fronts. The rear are American Racing and I can't remember the model. They are 15x12, I picked them up a few years ago cheap, but the matching front skinnies are expensive. For now I am just running a cheap set of Summit Racing wheels in the front.

always love a hot orange paint job, IMHO I like the old school skinny slot magnesium in the front with a solid polished centerline in the rear but that's just me.
