I am restoring a 68 Valiant from a 6 cly to a 340, I went large bolt pattern front and rear. I bought a 73 duster disc brake set up with upper control arms and am not positive which upper and lower ball joints to purchase or if I will encounter any additional fitment issues with other suspension parts? My guess is 73 lower ball joints would be correct and not sure on uppers. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks Mike

Yup, what Del said.

You'll want upper and lower ball joints for a '73+ car. But unless you changed the K frame and center link, you'll want the idler and pitman arm for a '68.

Tie rod ends shouldn't matter. But you'll need a new alignment regardless.

Thank you both very much for you input! I should have mentioned that I have a 340 K member from a 70 Duster and currently have power steering on the 6 cylinder and would like to change to a manual set up.

correct me if i'm wrong guys.

so if you have the new k frame and also changing to the 73 A body center link & steering box you should be good with 73 A body idler arm and pitman arm otherwise 68' parts.

Yup, as above

The K itself should not change anything, except different from slant to V8

So, yeah. The disk setup means you need 73 disk upper / lower ball joints

The newer steering box, means the pitman arm is "big spline" so now the pitman, idler and center link should be 73.
