Any interest in doing a beach cruise and Mopar get together?

Possibly meet in Huntington Beach, cruise up PC to around Malibu and have lunch?

All Mopar of course!

If there's any interest, we'll work out the details!

What say you?!

Jeff

Wow.....lame.

Guess I'll find some chevy guys that actually want to drive.

:wack:

i'm always up for a cruise.

I've see a 1969 Plymouth barracuda - light yellow in color with a dark vinyl top around my area i wonder if hes a FABO member?

Weren't you the one who was "afraid" to take your car out? Maybe people are busy or not many in your area? Give it time and let the thread get some exposure....in the meantime have fun with your "Chevy guys" :happy1:

You didn't read that very well.....worried about parking lots etc.....not about driving it.
When I'm with the car, I promise no one is going to key it.

Anyone actually want to drive their car?!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, we drive 'em.
Just last Saturday we had 7 cars from Inland Mopars Car Club drive down to the "All-American Car Show" in Cardiff that was hosted by the Mopar Club of San Diego. We have a different club activity each month.
Our activity for September is a cruise out to the afternoon/evening car show in downtown Lancaster that will be hosted by the Antelope Valley Mopar Club.
We also go to the "Mopars At The Strip" event in Las Vegas each year. Now, that's a cruise.
Of course, most of our club members participate in local shows and events, but we do have some that don't mind putting some miles on their Mopars. We have several club members that should finish their build projects within the next year so more club-member-owned cars will be going to longer-distance events.

cool... i liked the mopars in MAY over in Riverside that was fun.

i wish YOU GUYS would GET TOGETHER with the food truck / food vendor community...

Hey...the weather is still good so I'm up for a beach cruise once I get my Duster road worthy. I just need a couple of more weekends, or a helping hand to speed things along.

Well there was no interest so.......I'm gonna need more than a couple weekends now!

But keep it mind for the future!

Cool! This weekend I'm hoping to have the Z-Bar installed and if my Jeg's exhaust kit comes in, I hope to have that installed too. I also need to tighten the steering pieces since I had to pull them off to install the headers.

Lot's to do!

Well this sucks!
We'll have to do another when I get my engine back together!

At least you guys are close and driving it... :burnout:

Mine is light years away. Well if I want to paint it is.

Work and family are my excuse.

I am in Fullerton, so Downey is close. I always am willing to lend a hand if beer is involved. Just saying.

Here's what I'm building... '74 Duster with a 4 speed and 400HP 360

To Do List:
  1. Install the exhaust
  2. Install the Z Bar (may require modification for Doug's Headers)
  3. Seal up the firewall to prevent leaks when it rains
  4. Replace front and rear window seals
  5. Dynamat the interior
  6. Install the interior (need to dye it black, order headliner)
  7. Replace the front steering components (ball joings, tie rod ends, etc)
  8. etc etc

I really want to get it driveable for the Fall Fling October 24th. The interior stuff can wait. I just want to make it road worthy for now.

So the Z-Bar, exhaust, and steering is on my immediate to-do list right now.
