Have attached some more pics, new Big bore 3.5" pistons ready to be assemble onto conrods, Closed and honed, ARP Rod bolts, lightened balanced etc, cylinder head cut out for big valves and lots of porting work including matching new aussie speed manifold!

Should be fitting engine next week and have it running, reset tappets after camshaft has run-in, do some basic tuning and possibly have it ready by end of next week. :burnout:

Very nice. Ported heads, big valves, Hurricane long runners, dual headers. I also love the vehicle. The front looks like a 69 Dart, with an El Camino/Ranchero pickup body. That would sure turn heads in the U.S. I wonder what it would cost to ship one over.

OK I need you help please.

The kickdown and throttle cables are now not long enough to fit properly. Before I waste a crap load of coins on replacements do you know if there are any kits that are long cables?

So close !!

Is the reason they're not long enough is because you're using the Hurricane manifold?

Where do I get one? Is there any advantage to it for left side drive? Seems it might be easier to do oil change

I am guessing the biggest advantage for our LHD cars would be easier filter change. I bought the last one another member had. I've been told that even in RHD countries the special oil pump and remote filter is hard to come by as they are not available new and the people who have slants reuse them in the RHD cars.

Very cool! Thanks for taking the time to post photos. That might inspire me to start building my new Hydraulic lifter slant.
