4 speed trans gear ratios 76 to 69 cudas

There was a close ratio set in the SBM T/As. IIRC it was 2.47-1.77-1.39-1.00,The early As, had available a 3.09-1.92-1.40-1.00 set that I find pretty sweet. That 3.09 is a 16% improvement to low gear, and turns a 3.23 rear into a 3.75, and a 3.55 into a 4.12,whohoo! The penalty is the 1-2 split. I just rev it a little higher before the shift, like the Mustang guys do.
 
Food for thought I am thinking about getting a tk]o tremec 5 speed trans then change the rear end gears up. Shoot for 1/4 mile speed yet have the 5 th gear for highway
