Can old condensers work?

Recommendations for removal?

At $35 a piece, I found a junkyard (I live in the deep, hot south) that has the same model b, f, (& a) body cars-with stock air conditioning setups in most cars (about 20+ cars)

What can I reuse?

Thank you for your time/consideration?

I reuse anything except accumulators and driers.

Should I just use 134 and the corresponding oil once the system is installed?

Does anything need to be done besides a purge or flush or something?

These cars are old enough to to be R12, (which I think I would prefer, but what is the adapter I need to install it from the old cans that it comes in?)- so if I had to go withR134, something has to be different

I flush systems with brake cleaner and compressed air. R12 is hard to come by and very expensive now. Use R134A.
