I have a 1969 Dodge Dart GTS for sale. This is an original, 2-owner M-code 440 car, B5 blue with stripe delete. Black interior.

The factory built these cars - for one single year only - 640 of them - specifically for strip duty, and this one was most definitely put to use as intended. This particular car is legendary in the upper Midwest; it terrorized the strips of Minnesota, Northern Illinois, and Wisconsin for almost a decade. The original owner is well-known and is still building, racing and winning with some of baddest Mopars in the country.

This Dart did see a touch of street time, but spent 99% of its life on the track. The car has 38,*** original miles and is 100% rust free.

Documentation is extensive; the car was purchased brand-new on the day of the 1969 Dick Landy performance clinic at White Bear Dodge - just North of St. Paul, MN - and still has its original invoice. Original 1969 registration. Good title in original owner's name. Stacks of time slips. Class trophies. Magazine articles... etc. There are several nicer M-code Darts out there, but you will not find one with better provenance.

Car is out of 30 years of storage, and is unrestored per se. It was reassembled and has received a complete, nut-and-bolt mechanical restoration from front to back. Some attention was given to the interior and such, and the engine compartment was freshened. Otherwise, every reasonable effort was made to keep it in its original, as-raced condition - paint, warts and all - and most of the original M-code goodies delivered with the car are present... 893 oil pan. 065 radiator. Factory motor mounts, etc.

A small number of tasteful upgrades were made, for instance Kelsey-Hayes disks found their way onto the front end.

I have this car listed in Hemmings Motor News for $52,500.

I'm a motivated seller and open to reasonable offers, including partial trades.

I'm very into Finned Mopars, Sonoramic Commandos, Letter cars, Max Wedges, 392 and 426 Hemi stuff, vintage race parts, anything made out of magnesium, NOS parts lots, etc.

Unfortunately - unless you have an exceptional circumstance - I am not in a position to do a straight-across trade on this car, so please don't ask.

Serious buyers are very welcome to contact me about the car and of course come look at it.

Thanks FABO!!!

I've been made aware by two kind and concerned MoPar folk that some 2nd-rate scam artist has copied my ad description and photos, and is trying to sell MY car as theirs. Their advertisment was on Auto Trader Classics; it's now been deleted, but this person is still actively trying to scam people out of a deposit for a car they don't own, with elaborate lies and such.

Ladies and Gentlemen, if someone wants to sell you an M-code Dart for $13,999 - and they are an ill widow - and won't give you a phone number or talk to you about the car on the phone - and they want you to send them escrow funds - and you can't come see the car for some inexplicable reason .....

..... then there is a great number of warning signs that you are being scammed.

Ugh.

Link to pictures no workie. Also, is heater in the car and do you have the original exhaust manifolds? Seems the last time this car was listed you mentioned that there was some rust in the lower rear quarters.
