These parts were just removed from the original tranny in my 69 swinger. I'm told they are "crash box" modified. They worked fine if you were jam shifting, but for a daily driver they would "rake" so I had them taken out. Some wear on the edges, close up photos attached.
I not a master technician, so let me know if you want any additional close up photos etc.

Thank you. Will

$100 for all plus the ride.

You need to buy tow relatively inexpensive parts to make what you have work on the street. You do NOT need to sell this stuff if you don't want to.

PM me and I will help you.

You have been told wrong.

If you've been following Along on his for Speed conversation he already has all the stuff replaced. That's a great deal just for the gears alone.

Tell me more about these two relatively inexpensive parts

I thought you might say that.
So I researched his previous thread, Titled 833 Rake between gears. I may have been the second guy to have told him that
Well that's a half crashed box.
And the sliders are totally unstreetable, on acount of total lack of provision for struts or synchronizer rings. The gears however are streetable. There is no reason to not reuse them
I say second, because from the time he posted the pics, to my post, and back to his post where the tranny is already rebuilt and in the car and roadtested, was around 2.5 hours. I never even thought of subbing in factory hubs.

But, Will;
I tell you what, if I was number one on the "told you wrong" list,Pm me and I'll make it right.

Hey guys, the tranny is back together, and shifts like a dream. Yeah, I spent some money to get it there, but it's now very street friendly. I went from a "jam shifter" with rake to a tranny as smooth as silk. 430 gears down to 323's. I like to cruise, and am content with the new set up.

Tell me if I'm nuts for asking $100 for the parts. I just don't have any use for them. They are paper weights to me.

Also an FYI: I tossed the speedo connector. The threads were shot, and I'm told this is a part that's readily available.

Agreed, very generous price. Some people drop there price a couple bucks every day to bump there post. You have plenty of room in that price to raise it a couple of bucks each day to speed your buyers - LOL

Thank you Sir. Parts on the way. I'll PM you a tracking number. Anybody know how to change this thread to "sold" from "for sale"??

Will, the parts got here, excellent! Great packing job! Thanks
I'm glad your happy. Do you know how to change this thread to sold? How about giving positive trader feedback? Sorry, I just don't have much knowledge on these forums.
