Hi guys,
I picked up some 15x7 steelies with a 4" bs. For my 66 Valiant Signet with 7 1/4 rear end
I am hoping to put some 245/60/ 15 on the rear.
Before I pull the trigger on them I would like some input from you guys. Has anyone run those on their 63-66 abody without mods?
Thanks

I have 245/60/14s with 4 inch back spacing on my 66 Cuda they fit fine plus i'm lowered 3 inches or more in the rear.

I ran 15x7 on my 66 dart but had 4 1/4 back spacing. I had my rear leafs resprung on the 7 1/4. They would rub only if I had someone in the back seat or loaded trunk and turning corners. I have 225 60 on my 65 dart because I didn't want any rubbing ever. And I dont

235/60/15 on 15x7 with 4.25 backspace on the rear of Jakes 65 B'cuda. It's tight. Half inch at the Springs and 3/4 to 1 inch at the lip. Might be able to squeeze 245 in there, but we didn't want to chance it.

Yes stock 7 1/4 rear, J.C Whitney high lift rear springs [replaced by p.o.] which i removed 2 leaves, flipped front spring perches and installed 1 inch blocks for a total of about 3 -3 1/2 inch drop. I have an index finger width between spring and side wall and a tight hand width between side wall and inner fender at the top out side. Does not rub at all.
