Valve springs

-
I like to run the springs the cam supplier recommends. Not sure if it would be a deal breaker, but more then enough is not always good either. But really need more info. Roller, flat tappet? It's easier to get the recommended springs/retainers, set them up, and run with it if you can work it out with the installed height.

Look in the Lunati catalog. It has all the info there.

#73100 spring
125 @ 1.850
325 @ 1.25 open load
1.110 coil bind
333 rate

Over the nose, you are going to have about 315 with the trick flows and 290 with Lunatis recommended.

So the trick flows are too much right?

thanks cracked.
so close yet so far.

Since they`re both dual spring, is it feasible to just replace the inner spring? with a lighter rate, or would I need to buy the proper dual springs and retainers?
