HI everyone! This is my first post. I have a 1966 Dart 270 wagon. Its has a little rust in the rear fender lowers. What I was wondering was: Is the dart lower quarter the same as the wagon? I wont be using the whole quarter just the rear lower portion of it near the back of the wheel well opening. thanks in advance!!

I think they are the same, at least the part you are referring to.

With some research, they do not look like they are the same. Sorry.

Take a look at a 64 valiant. it's got close to the same wheel well (really looks like the round front fender one) opening and could be modified and the spear that is seen in the pictures with the 2 red darts

I think laysons has the lower rear patch panel that might work for you if the bump is'nt too big(it might be looking at the dart wagon). but if you just need a curved piece of metal and most of the bump is still there it would be a bunch cheaper to just hand bend the patch piece.

Thank You!

The wagons are on the Valiant wheel base (106" vs 111") and they don't have the 'skirt-like' wheel well
Probably a Valiant lower quarter would work better

1963 to 1966 Plymouth Valiant station wagons and Dodge Dart Station Wagons all have the same lower rear quarter lower panel. They all have that bump out that blends in with the bumper and it's Unique unto itself. It's similar to the Valiant but shorter and very much unlike the Dart car quarter panel.
Did you know that the Dodge Dart Station Wagons are the shortest of all Dodge Darts?

Thank so Much!! No I didn't know they were the shortest.

They are the shortest because they are the length of the Valiant because they are based on the Valiant body. They did not make a longer version for the Dart with the extra leg room in the back seat area. They all have a Valiant rear bumper which in my opinion does not match the Dart front bumper.
