I have a first year 340 block that I would like to sell. Date code 6-22-1967. It is 30 over right now, has been baked and blasted, years ago, but in good condition. I figure someone will need it. Pretty rare as far as 340's go. $750

Does it by chance have a VIN # stamped on the bell housing rail behind driver side head?
 
Well, it's not to my car, but what is the assembly date on the block. I haven't had a a chance to see if my transmission is stamped, but this would help narrow down when they started stamping the numbers (my VIN is 111xxx and SPD of 8/28/67).
