I have one not sure if it's a 7.25 or the 8.25, but it came out of my 71 Dart and I'd have to get to the shop and check the ratio.
 
I would definitely prefer to upgrade to a 8.25 regardless of what gears are in it. Could you please send me a picture of it or see what its specs are. Thank you. greatly appreciate the help. I'm jst a young man on a budget with his dart build so this really helps.
