1969 Plymouth Valiant 2 door
purchased through an Estate Auction approximately 3 years ago. I believe this car is a first time around 79k mileage car. The original Build Sheet was found and it was optioned up to get the 225 Slant 6, Automatic Transmission, Power Steering and AM Thumb Wheel Radio. The original owner added during it's life a set of 1972 SBP Rally Wheels with the one year only Acorn Centers (14 inch), additionally he added the 1970 Rally Sport mirrors in Chrome version. No other modifications from original Factory delivery have been made to this car. I have performed the following to the car:
. New Fuel Pump
. New Water Pump
. New Brake Master Cylinder
. New Fuel Tank / Sending Unit
. NOS 1970 version Carter 1 bbl. Carburetor
. New Thermostat / Radiator Hoses / Heater Hoses
. Complete Tune-up, Spark Plugs, Plug Wires, Cap, Rotor, Points
. New Battery
. Replaced Valve Cover Gasket
. New Transmission Filter and Fluid, used Re-usable Pan Gasket
. New Tires
. Added a 1973 version Coolant Overflow/Return (changed Radiator Cap)
The car runs very well. The Title could not be found on the car, but a new Title can be gotten through Broadway Title in Alabama for about $150.00. I was not planning on keeping the car, so I have not done this and will only be able to sell it with a Bill-of-Sale.
This car was sold new and lived it's whole life in NC, but is now located in NE GA.
