I will share my experience with this kit. I have a 1967 Barracuda with the 273 4-speed. I bought one of these kits from Brewers and was pretty unhappy with it. The clutch disk was .080 too thick and the pressure plate they sent me had some ungodly heavy springs in it. I had to take the clutch disk and pressure plate to a local clutch shop where they swapped me for the correct thickness clutch disk and they also replaced the springs in the pressure plate with something a little less aggressive. Brewers was absolutely NO help when I called them and told them about these issues. I had that transmission in and out of the car three times because of these so called "4-speed experts". I do hear good things about them on this forum all the time, but my experience wasn't all that positive.

I bought a 10" clutch from Rockauto for I think just over $100. This was after reading an article at slantsix.org.

It bolted directly to my original 1964 225 flywheel...BUT...it requires special small head attachment screws that I bought from Brewers.

The cover is scalloped out around the attachment holes which weakens it appreciably. But I reasoned that I have a 4-1/8" stroke slant six that probably won't see anything over 4500 RPMs. Getting close to 2500 miles on it and there have been no problems so far. Knock on wood.

The operating effort is pretty light. I'll bet I could win a burn out contest but burnouts are for kids. If I ever turbo l should be good to go.

No, but the website is brewersperformance.com
Look in the flywheel section under fasteners. They are 27 bucks + shipping for 6 screws. His p/n is BP1501.
Or just call them with your credit card and either Wayne or his son will answer.
