I think it was mentioned earlier, either paint or cut out black paper for the rear wheels, make them as big as you want and looks proper depth wise. Would also give a dark background for the Zoomies to be against.

Either would look good I think.. That's some very cool wall art!
thanks, trying to make it better but I have no talent, I got it this far but not happy with it, but thanks to you all I think it will look better soon. As long as my wall can hold the weight.

This was hanging in an antique mall close to me.. Had a $500 price tag on it.. Next time I was in there it was gone so I assume they sold it.

Lol... Yeah I like yours alot better.. Looks like your putting more effort in to it.. I just wish my shop was big enough to hang something like that on the wall.. Lol

ok guys got the tire cut in half. Wow I gotta tell you uniroyal makes a good tire that was a hard tire to cut up with a rusty hack saw. trying to figure out how to mount it on the wall now be back soon
-----------------------------------PICS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yea I thought about making the head lights work and that's a good idea led takes less power and I could leave them on without a big electric bill. Thanks
Don't need much light for effect. Could probably do battery power led with motion detector

yep good idea I already have the red and white LEDs, Right now I'm working on the zoomies. Not enough room for all 4 pipes but I can do 3 on each side.
I'm thinking about having an artiest come in and paint the back tires and blower and snout.

Sooo no body has said anything about my trap door going into my attic in the garage. that says NEXT, ??. The reason I didn't paint it is because women say a man never finishes a project that he started. Well I'm living up to my manhood

I did this with an old Jeep grille. I used a computer power supply to power it. The 12 volt leads for the parking lights and the 5 bolt leads for the headlights so they weren't super bright. I just tied all of the similar voltage supplies together to get enough amperage.

"need to be higher" than the rest of the parts, maybe even tape some body lines front to rear w/ an outward slant to the rear, to make it look like a hotrod. Tape will let u get it right before painting them. ???????
that's a good idea Bob was thinking about using cardboard and painting it black for the slicks. and then for the zoomies using 3/4 pipe

Some 3/4 EMT tubing long sweeps at lowes/home depot would look the part. Screw the first to the wall and then stagger each one down 1/4 to 1/2 inch to show each tip.

was thinken about christmas lights in side the pipes for flames and head lights.

As long as LED's, a lot cheaper to run
yea my shop lights are all LEDS and real cheep to run. and put out lots of light. just trying to make this wall hanger cheep it will not be on all the time.
