Can somebody verify for me that a driver's door off a 4-door '74 Dart would fit on a 4-door '71 Valiant. Heard that maybe late years were somehow different. Thanks.
 
I think the later ones have door panels that cover the full door, not sure if the core was the same.

Was concerned about hinge and/or latch differences. Ran into that issue on '63 to ''65 Valiant doors.

I do not know what a 71 one looks like or how these are different.

I am looking at one for sale, and it definitely has just the partial door panel like my kids '71. So it must be off an earlier model.
 
Physically bolt on and operate there is no difference, as shown above inner structure is different as well as door panels.
 
The later Valiant brougham or Dart SE has the padded upper door panels, lower level Darts and Valiants just have the painted metal upper inner door.
Front doors are interchangable between 67-76 4 door Darts and Valiants. Rear doors are Dart or Valiant specific on 67-73 models and won't interchange between the 2.
