The other day I grabbed the left front tire and gave it a shake at the top, click-click-click. Ok wheel bearing is too loose.
Went to tighten it and found that the upper ball joint is the source of the click.
Question... how much trouble am I looking at if I try to replace it myself? (I know the basic procedure, and it is a California car)
I'm not ready to rebuild the entire front suspension but could replace the upper control arm bushings at the same time if I have to remove it from the car to do the ball joint.
Question... any thoughts on aftermarket control arm ready to bolt in?
