No hassle headers for 66 dart w/360?

This thread has convinced me to go with a Gerst or Hemi Denny front suspension. Get the torsion bars out of the way. And go with TTIs. I don’t like the idea of the slip joint on the Doug’s.

I'm with you! But the bank account says that's not happening in this life time! Lol I'm tempted to try and build my own set of headers

Kenton, I have the HDK kit that eliminates the torsion bars HDK6466A-03 on my 66 Cuda. I've put about 3000 miles on it with no issues. Rides much nicer with the coilovers and it's really nice not having the torsion bars in the way. I can't comment on headers as I still have stock manifolds for now. I bought another kit for my 65 wagon but it is still under construction.

Can you give us any additional info on the HDK kit you purchased, how was assembly and where did you purchase the kit from? Pics
Thanks Rod

It can be purchased from the following website link. I only live an hour away from Hemi Denny so I usually email him and just pick it up when it ready. All of his pieces are topnotch with fit and finish. I installed the kit in my Cuda with the engine installed. It's a little time consuming working around the steering box. My next kit will be installed with the drivetrain out so I'm sure it will be a breeze to install. I am replacing the firewall in my wagon right now as it was hacked up to stuff a 400 BB in it with a motor plate. I may go back to the BB and stock manifolds as I will not have any torsion bars to hinder my exhaust installation. I have been told that Schumacher BB motor mounts and the HDK kit I listed that Schumacher tri-y headers may fit without any issues but I can't verify that . The attached pic is from my test fit. Don't mind the surface rust on the support hoop as I had those for a while before this kit was available and had not painted them yet. I get all of my parts powder coated from Denny now. This is a street car that I was experimenting on and gets driven all the time so pardon the lack of pretty looking paint. It's definitely not a show car. It's my beater with a heater so to speak.
