Started on mine a couple of months ago. Picked it up at the body shop today. Hopefully have it done in about 14 weeks. Building a 540 Mopar Hemi block for it. Crossram, TTI's, Dana, tubular front end, auto, 4 wheel discs, proper roll bar system, fiber glass front end, mini tubbed, skinny front torque thrusts and 10" torque thrusts on the rear. It won't be a real clone, I don't have the time or the inclination to get that detailed, but I think it will still look good overall.

I haven't received the spec sheet from the builder yet, just got the motor last week. What I can remember is that the Edelbrock heads flow in excess of 450CFM (I thought he said 480, but I'm not sure). Pump gas motor with 11:1 compression, a DeWinton crank (4.5 stroke if I recall), can't remember the rods, stage 5 rocker gear and valve covers Mopar crossram with the 770 Holleys, mechanical camshaft, Smith pushrods. Sorry, that's all I can remember for now, I
I'll post the actual specs when he sends it to me next week

Nice ! I’m putting together a 572, similar combo. Who’s ARL ? I’m guessing they
swapped out the edelbrock springs

Exhaust is almost done, just need some turn downs on the electric cut outs

I always run an ovalized(for room) foot long stainless steel exhaust tip. It sweetens the exhaust note similar to what the flares on the end of most wind instruments does. Makes a subtle, but significant improvement to the sound. Once you hear the difference, you will never run cutouts without them again.

Yes, the Edelbrock springs are long gone...…..

Nice work. That's going to be a handful on the street. Wondering why you didn't add the under fender bracing and tie the front frame rails together with something like US Cartool makes? That motor is going to be a beast!

Also curious about a few things in the valve train. You wrote hydraulic roller valve springs, but you have solids. I had a problem with too low of spring pressures in the not so distant past, so professionally set-up valve trains are interesting to me.

That's a very tight lash compared to what my solid roller has. It's like half as much. I found that interesting too, as is the 112* lobe centerline. Did they say what the spring's pressures are on the seat and open?

Our builds are almost identical.

4.405 bore x 4.5 stroke 548 ci
11.1 custom cp pistons
I have molnar 7.1 rods and molnar crank
Edelbrock heads CNC’d by MCH. Similar flow numbers
Solid roller
271/273 .704/.652 on 112 .014 lash
Barton rockers
And MP cross ram with factory carbs.

I’ll probably assemble it next week when I’m off for a few days.

Some interior shots looking from the front seats. The back window has a 5% tint on it. Waiting for roll bar padding to show up.
