I have several different sets of 67's and a few 69's. Most of them have bad chrome.
Let me know if you are interested. If you send me your email address I can send you pictures. Larry

You can use lenses out of 65-66 mustang back up lights. They are real cheap, about $15 buck a pair & all you have to do is grind a couple of slots for locating pins. They fit good, but don’t look completely original. However they are new & shiny & look a lot better than some ratty old survivor parts. I will post a pic when I find it.

Thanks Mike, have you tried housings for fit?
Thanks
Steve

The mustang lenses fit in the 69 housings good. I think the whole mustang back up lights would work & repops are also cheap on the internet. I thought about painting a black ring on the lense so they would look more like the factory mopar parts. I went a different direction. I replaced the rear valance on my 69 with an AMD part due to an accident. It didn’t have the bu light holes cut, since it also fit a 68, so I just added a license plate led light for a backup light. The original bu light housings I have had bad chrome, & I decided to not use them.

Mustang lenses shown loose with notched filed in one to fit cuda housing. Cuda bu light shown for comparison

I would also consider selling the original set I have since I am not using them. They are the short ones, used on 67’s and early 69’s I think. They are complete, but the chrome is fair at best.
