I have for sale a small block 727 trans and Turbo Action 727 8” converter. They are both in excellent shape. The trans is very clean inside and looks to be fresh with a TA #17156 reverse pattern manual valve body, all the good clutches and bands, a chrome deep pan but no trans brake. The convertor is a TA #17508XM 8” unit with a 3800 stall speed as per Paul Forte at Turbo Action. Flash speed will be higher but will depend on the engine. It’s an older unit but is still considered to be an excellent converter for a bracket car. It is also not designed for a trans brake. The converter looks to be unused as the paint on the ring gear isn’t scratched from a starter drive like you would see if it was used. Both of these units were supposed to be for a 67 340 Barracuda bracket car but was never completed and raced. I would like to sell both units as a package for $1150 or $750 for the trans and $500 for the converter if sold separately, plus shipping.
