Nice BP never seen icicles like that.
Glad you had some good family time and glad she is at rest but still sad.

Never seen anything like that!

Seriously, no wind?

When I lived in KY we got allot a ice storms. The 3 board fences on the horse pastures would look just like a window after a good one. The ice was solid from the top board to the ground. Sometimes for miles!

It was so cute watching her grand children walk down the isle chronologically. 10 of them. The tallest pushing 6 feet and the youngest is probably 3 feet. You could have drawn a perfectly straight descending line on top of their heads. Strong family who had run out of tears. Funny how that happens.

Ya, no wind at all Jeff. You can see how the sliding accumulated snow that the icicles are attached to has a definite curve to it. I've never seen it happen to this extent myself. Like I said, its just a series of bends. The weight just keeps pulling down on the sliding snow. This took about a week to happen and broke off just minuets after that pic.

That is awesome.

Because of my aviation background fluid dynamics is kind of a pet peave and interest.

It made me think of this...

Coanda Effect

It made be think of a distortion of space and time or as most people call it... gravity. Oh, and then it made me behold the falling rain descending from heaven incorporating itself with grapes from which God has provided as perfect little wine factories. Then I thought of God and how he wants us to be happy and then I thought, well... wine makes me happy so I then thought HEY, lets have a drink. :)

Almost always a good choice!

Ha Ha... I'm famous. I sent the icicle picture to the local news station and they just aired it.

I'll drink to that.
Well didn't get the engine bay in primer but got some filler in there and sanded. Ran out of blasting sand and have a few more spots to blast.

I am just sitting here waiting for the snow you are sending Fred. Plow truck is full of gas.
Still snowing CF looks like about 4" so far gonna have to blow the driveway out tomorrow I think and then on Tuesday gonna get down to 38 below and that's ok as long as the wind don't blow.

Rust is a big problem depending on ware it is some times better to find a car that is in good shape and spend the extra money on it.
Need pictures of yours some day Biff.
I know BP is a big help and I will help as much as I can.
