2019 summer race.... Jadaharabi vs 318willrun

who's got this race ?

There is nothing for him to own up to. Family first ! even if he's posting over on Moparts, it's very little and no drama.
He posts on fabo and gets called a poser and fraud from time to time. The guy knows his **** and will probably have a car ready to race when time is available. I always say people should be careful for what they wish for.

Concerning YR, no need to explain anything to me. I got along with him. As far as YR and Jaws race, that was noth'n to do with me, Jaba, or the race we'll have. I'm not sure who is doing the wish'n your talk'n about... LOL.

I can tell you what I'm wishing. I'm wishing for another 57 degree day. Maybe several in a row.

I know you and Jaba are gonna have a friendly race when the cars are ready. this summer ? probably.
Your race won't get out of hand like the j par and YR race. That's where I come up with the wishful line.
If YR is like me he will bring a heavy hitter to the race, bringing all the poser remarks to an end.
Myself, I've got such a car. lol

Yes, Jaba and I will have exactly what you described, a friendly race. We've met, our wives met, done deals, and have talked several times on the phone. As we compete, we are also willing to help each other with our projects, be it parts or knowledge.

Were also glad you and others have had fun with this as well.

As far as YR and Jaws, and their race, who's a poser and who isn't, it would be better resurrected in their thread. There is no bad blood here :)

Excuse me gentlemen for butting in on your racing thread here, but this should be addressed. I won't even mention the health issues that some of my closest family has just went through besides my near fatal accident in May, losing three quarters of my sight in my left eye in July, and my appendix out in November. With that said yeah why in the heck can someone post non-stop on MoParts and not come here and at least say hey blah blah blah? It's just not right and left and leaving me with the bag here to answer for him also as if I didn't show up to the race. well All Is Lost now because I've lost all interest in any kind of race and have completely reconfigured my car for mostly Street use and only some track use which I couldn't even imagine it doing anyting Beyond a mid 12 right now.
From me a big fat WHATEVER!!!.....

You seem to be really heavily handedly talkin for yellow rose? We never expected anything but a friendly race. I'm sure since you're such close friends that he would tell you that we talk behind the scenes and we just wanted to get together for a friendly race drink some squirt and ginger ale and enjoy the day and maybe take a few passes for you guys. it's everybody out here in their head with us just building build up that think that were really against each other's throats but we're not. Another thing that upsets me that he couldn't just say hey we can't do it this year how about first thing in the Spring end of story see how easy that was....
Okay I'm done sorry about that gentleman continue on with your race the fisherman 67 has anyting else let him take it to the proper place or for God's sake start a thread...
 
What length and what dimensions do you want for subframe connectors? Did not want to go looking through 10000 threads to find out what size is needed.
Was it 48 x 1 1/2 x 3?
1/8 thick?
I remember J par used about eight sets to build that Contraption on the back of his truck.

seems 1 1/2 by 2 ??

oh for goodness sakes give me a couple minutes and I'll go out and measure again but I'm almost positive I started with 4 ft long.
 
Most the pictures I guess I already have but I went and took a couple more to make sure I gave you the right measurements..
First it looks like I used 1 and 1/2 by 2 and 1/2. You can choose your thickness. They were four feet long to start. and I did this filet cut to add more welding surface to the front. At the rear I made three simple cuts and opened up like a mouth to receive the rectangle stock. I shoved it in there and then pulled it forward to wear it grabbed onto the front frame.

^^^filet along the dotted line and you will have six sides to weld for strength instead of four sides, it more encapsulates...
I think I had $37 into the Steelyard for a 10-footer that they cut into two 4ft pieces forI th and I had the two footer left over the time now used on a sled deck and have this piece left over LOL
now you know why I preach that you can buy an $89 Harbor Freight welder a $50 helmet it $5 pair of gloves and $37 in metal stock and still not have much into those $200 ones they send to your door that everybody recommend you weld on anyways LOL
 
Also I might add it didn't press against the floorboard very hard whatsoever and I did a couple stitches against the floorboard as well..
 
FYI if it does pressed up against the floorboard indents a little I'm sure your passengers won't complain that the carpet has a little bump in it...

Ha, the master of research should know I've been saying all along jab is going to TRY to survive the on slot of cracked pinned corner valves flying out in every possible direction and without question win said race.,.
Now GET CRACKIN! and do your research...

I researched, and you questioned if he even had a car..... LOL now he's in for the win
 
^^^^then when I seen he had a car that's all I needed. I knew at that point anything he had would..
