How close to the rear springs are they?

Does the 275/60 fit fine with stock height? Want to put a 275/50/15 on my 74 dart with a 4.5 back space and everyone is telling me it won’t fit…

Is that on stock rear suspension? What’s the backspacing and tire size?

Is that a 275? I’ve had people tell me to only go 255/60 but I really want the big meaty tire look of a 275+the added traction
A 275/60/15 fits. I did it myself. I’m is a 28 inch tire and it is very close. I don’t see a 29 fitting unless you can make sure it is in the wheel well really well. Still, the front of the tire may very well rub on the car body by the front spring hanger. If there is a way to get a 29 inch tire to fit without rolling or moving the metal, I don’t know what it is.
