Damn it 904 speedometer housing crap

I thought I bought a 26/45 speedo housing with a 33 gear (ebay) and what I got was a 21/25....I'm assuming this won't work as the index lines don't line up, the gears mesh but the lines are no where close.

I think your OK. If your housing had the rest of the marks, you'd be sitting right on the 26-31 where you are now, and 32-38 would be 180 opposite the 21-25 mark. I'm ignorant on other housings except the early ones that have the numbers on the outboard side instead of tally marks.
