I have a 71 duster here in Arlington Texas. I swapped in a 8 3/4 rear with sure grip. I have a 340 installed date coded 1969. So after we got it all back together there is oil leaking from the flex plate cover. So I would like to pull the motor and trans all at once. I remove just the bellhousing bolts before and I don’t want to do that again. So what all do I need to disconnect. So far:

No driveshaft
Trans mount down
Headers disconnected
Neutral safety switch and speedo disconnected.
Pistol grip taken off.
Starter out
Zbar- disconnected
Which bolts and linkage rods need to be disconnected?

Thanks for all your help.

I pull the trans out separate from underneath , support back of engine. Usually working by myself, not trying them together any more !

Ok sounds good. Do you which linkages need to be removed if you did do it together.
