Another gut wrenching game 7 caps loss. Dam-it.
Canes deserved to win. They were the hungrier team.
Congrats to them but now i’m rooting for the islanders.
 
Go Canes! I got to hoist (well just touch) the Stanley Cup last time they won. Have since moved from Raleigh to Florida, but the Canes are still our team.

I love how he still gets worked up ..
The Leafs need a coach with personally.
 
From 3rd period on, Canes were the better team. Not sure what happened to Caps or what they were thinking.
I was hoping "the jerks" would have an on ice celebration planned.
Babcock hasn't impressed me greatly, I was happy when Leafs hired him. But media(as usual) red lined over it and wanted to lay out the red carpet for him.
I've said before, he won one cup. Never mind Olympics or World Championships, he was hired to win Stanley. With the talent Leafs have, they are underachieving huge.

Gentleman where Dad n I stored cuda(Chris Paylor) RIP. His grandson is Vince Dunn, a local boy that is rounding into a great defenceman for St. Loo.
It would be nice to see them win their 1st cup.

I thought the leafs got rid of the bonehead defensemen.... Phaneuf... which according to one person translates to "Pylon" in english. LOL

Guess not with some of the play by that unit.
 
Gardiner like Babcock has not impressed me. I think Gardiner has pics of Babcocks wife...

Raptors are against 76'ers, helping ease the disappointment from the Leafs...2nd round of playoffs. But yeah hockey is my fix!

Yeah Bobrowski is playing phenomenal....its amazing how most teams that clawed/scratched to get in are thriving.
Marchand needed one for a very long time. Chara needs to give him another talking to. How could the refs not see that lol. Pounding him would be job #1 if I was coach lol

I believe you're thinking of the ducks. Never played for the Sharts.
I had the pleasure of meeting him once. He was a pretty funny guy. His knuckles were so scarred they looked like beef jerky.

Marchand is just skating in the wrong time, 5 years ago much less ten he would not get away with that kind of crap. NHL has all but taken out the self policing. Only a few left that will simply impose their will on POS like him. Grimson, Domi the list goes on and on of guys that would simply take him out for that crap. You gotta like CBJ. I never watched a single game of theirs all year till now. Not sure how I missed that!
 
Bob was on fire.

The one that got past, almost didn't.

Crowd was on fire as well.

Sometimes could not hear the game callers because of them!

Yep you're right, for some reason I was thinking Sharts. I dont think there was anyone that could touch him in his prime.

Canes looking to go 3-0! Leafs should never have let McIlhenny go. Oldest player to get his 1st playoff start. Good for him!
