Got a nice one in Illinois, I could have brought it to Vegas last weekend, oh well...

Outward appearance is the same, inner structure is different but they will bolt up and work.

The later hood has fixed threaded inserts with slotted holes on the hinges.
The 69 hood has floating thread bars in the hood with round holes on the hinges.

If it doesn't line up there is little room for adjusting. (short of taking a die grinder to the hinges)

I have a real nice hood that I have on my 69 440 car that's original f-8 ivy green metallic with both hood stripes and scoops for the A-56 package. stripes and scoops are flat black. I have my 69 Formula S car completely now painted and they are assembling it as we speak. That car is getting a crazy Victor motor in it and I ordered a fiberglass hemi hood for it. The original hood has no stripes on it yet or scoops on it yet but it is an A-56 package hood as well with the holes in it for the scoops. It has already be completely color sanded and buffed. I may be putting that hood on my 440 car since I'm not going to use it on my Formula car. I have the scoops and new stripe kit for it and that will leave me with one off of the 440 car. Hard to find at all much less in this kind of shape. Only down side is that it is green and has the hood scoops already in tact. Haven't considered selling it til now but it may not be the one you are looking for. I'm in Ventura County Ca.
