[FOR SALE] 1970 340 short block

Hi guys, need to see this engine get to a good home. 1970 340 bored .020 over. New pistons, rings, balanced. Bottom end is assembled. I have a set of X heads and a set of J heads that will be included, but these need to be redone. Also have 4 bbl. intake, late style timing cover. The VIN on the block is 0R162955. Cast date is 6-2-69. I do not have a cam or lifters. I am located in Ohio. Asking $2600 OBO. Prefer local pickup. PM me here with questions. Thanks for looking!

any details on pistons (forged, cast 10.5:1???) Who did machine work/put it together? Forged crank (ground undersized and how much)? Would you be willing to crate and ship the short block if I paid?

The motor has speed pro cast pistons 9.5:1. I do not remember if the forged crank needed to be turned down, but I'm leaning towards not.(this was all done about 8-9 years ago so my memory stinks!) I also forgot to mention new cam bearings have been installed along with brass freeze plugs and a new distributor bushing. The machine work was done by Charlie's in Findlay, Ohio. They have been around for over 40 years. The bottom end was assembled by a friend of mine who's been building Mopar engines, transmissions and rear ends since he was a teenager(in his 60's now). Yeah, I'll ship it if you want to pay for it.
