Mopar A-body wagon from down under

-
I just missed buying a VE Safari in Atlanta, GA last year. I knew it was down there and then it hit Craigslist and I didn't have the cash at the time! I am still looking to import one sometime soon, but the prices are going up quickly...

I was high bid on that GA wagon when it was on ebay about 10 years ago.

Almost had it bought for 4K via the seller, but he died.

It was north of 10K last time I checked the asking price and the condition has gotten worse.

I'd never change a factory RHD car. Way too cool.

I might be tempted to drop in a 360 though and a four speed (shifting with the left hand would be interesting).

...and a GTS hood would simply bolt on.

If I had a '69 lookin' wagon with no marker lights that hauled ***, I'd be smiling, too.

Mates longroof...its tough as nails too...hes been campaigning it on the dragstrip for a couple of years now in full trim, just to see how far he can get with it, Mals into the 11's with a stout 360 and all the good bits...great looking wagon, bit different to the US cars ....

Hopefully he wont mind me sharing these, in Australia this is a VE Valiant...the closest looking model to the Dart, with the bonnet cut out etc...the next model VF had a straight front bonnet( hood ) there are 3 models in the Valiant range with this shape...1967- 1971

What are "WZ" heads? Was that a typo for W2?
