I know this is a Gen3 Hemi, but it should be the same for all motors:
Car was idling in the garage, suddenly died. Not electrical or fuel. Removed valve covers, everything is moving. Zero compression on all cylinders. Does this sound like chain or sprocket slipped?

It's a ***** to take off the front cover on this motor because it has a motor plate so I have to support the motor with a cherry picker. Sounds like the front cover needs to come off though.

Once again, the cam is turning but the valve timing seems suddenly way off.

IDK Gen III but do these have V V T?
can you check your cam timing with a degree wheel without pulling it apart?
are these "interference" engines where you could bend valves with a cam slip?
best to find a GEN III forum
but do post back out of curiosity
does it have a distributor and if so is rotor it out of place when at TDC on intake stroke (or just before)
(as I said I do not know GEN III)

Could even be a failed cam chain idler.
Turn the crank back and forth and see if the valve movement is slack or moves as soon as the crank does.

I have a 2014 5.7 on a stand I will eventually be overhauling and swapping in my Duster but I haven't dove into it real deep yet. If it's a 2009 or later (those are all VVT) it could be a cam phaser issue. I doubt it's any MDS lifters collapsing because at worst you'd still have compression on 4 cylinders.

I remember also there was a TSB and recall on the 2009-2010 5.7s because the timing chain/sprockets would fail, we had the recall fix done on my mom's 2009 300C Hemi. Thank God the dealer was able to do it for free, even the guy at the counter said it was a big job when we came to pick the car up.

No MDS, no cam phaser, no VVT, Manley double roller timing chain and sprockets installed 6 months ago.
