Mother Nature hates racers

It sucks for the racers as well. Here when they get back to racing they will double up to make up races and Revenue. Which means only two practice passes and a VERY crowded track..
2 time trial runs is all you get at our track, then it's eliminations

Hmmmmm let me think about this. Racing or Carlisle. Lol. As much as I would like to finger a set of Trick Flow heads I know if I bought them it would led to more work for me because no way are they going on at 190cc. I’m hoping they take some of the hand gringing out for me and come out with a 210-220 offering.
I hear ya. I wish they would have made the head for std big block rockers. That would have given an additional .150"ish at the pinch without having to come up with a new rocker design.

Well I've had both. I've had three and four practice runs and two practice runs and for my $50 it's my preference to get three or four practice runs before I'm eliminated in the first round....

One and I’m ready to go. I made a Facebook posts two weeks ago about running a no time trial race. I would enter that at Keystone, Quaker City, Norwalk, and possibly dragway42 as I have track info from them.

I would enter just on the premise that I would likely win because of dumb luck LOL... My one and only round one win(bracket racing) at the start of the next pass I blew the ring bearing caps off the at the time newly rebuilt 8 3/4 489 case. Which also left me with a bad association to winning at bracket racing...

Pittsburghracer races a lot, jpar, not so much. (From my readings on here.)
When I raced 3 days a week, I could go w/o time runs. Now, I go to the track once every year or two. And only for Friday nite time runs. I might need 10 time runs these days. lol
Pittsburghracer, I used to drive for Pitt Ohio Express. Got to Pittsburgh twice a week. Nice town.

I’m not really the city type person and drive to the city once a year on average for The World Of Wheels custom car show. I was raised 25 miles from Pittsburgh and in 1985 bought a house 33 miles away. I love Country life
