Members. I have a Power Brake booster that I bought from another member. In my dis-assembly, I failed to note which direction a part would go in the re-assembly. Could anyone help me out? Enclosed are some pics of what I am speaking of. This part goes between the booster and the Master Cylinder. As the pics show, there is some sort of filter element within this part. I did attempt to find a diagram online, but that diagram seems to be unavailable....at least I could not find it. Does this filter go toward the PB booster or toward the Master Cylinder. Towards booster. Also make sure the pushrod that goes into the M/C is adjusted per the factory service manual before installing. It makes a difference as far as compensation ports being exposed properly etc. and will lead to issues with the brake system operation if it’s off too far. I don’t have my manual readily available to give specifics.

Here’s a how to article. Not positive the .020” is 100% correct but it’s sounds familiar.
