Supercharger Slant Builds

-
Dang I wish the slants had a 7 main bearing lower end. I am suprised more guys don't dump the basement out of them with only 4 mains.

The slant six crank is placed right in the center of the lower crankcase. Just like a 440 or a Hemi. The crank when properly prepped is not the problem. Head gasket sealing is MUCH more a problem than the crank. Back in the day the chevy and ford guys would eat cranks and had to change them often. These were NA engines. Maybe you can't get the same power from a 225 vs a 300 ford, 292 chevy, 302 gmc, but inch per inch they are more durable.

And with the right ring gap on the pistons I can easily see my Slant turning into a Supercharged Hero. The very thought of it is so cool. I have a few contacts (from forums) that have done this and I plan to take many notes.
YOU Guys who have responded, keep up the good work. And keep tagging this thread with progress.
