Seems that the car I bought came without a hood latch. It has the horizontal lever and safety catch but is missing the actual latch and rod that connects the two parts together. Please post a photo of what you have showing the condition.

Pretty sure I have a set. Is this the style of release you have?

I HAVE THE COMPETE LATCH SET UP , OFF A 68 FORM s CAR, I WENT FIBERGLASS . No pics a this time , P M if interested---------bob
 
I got word from him today that he found the latch in a box of parts but there is no sign of the rod or clips that connect the latch to the lever, anyone have one they can spare?
