A storage solution if your spare 8 3/4" chunk 'kicks the bucket'.

This was the second one in less than a month;

In my work, I generally have wood scraps left over.

With 3/4" plywood for the tops & bottoms, 2x8s for depth & 2x2s or 2x4s for 'feet' these work out great & all three were made in well under an hour.

If I have to move them around the hand truck works just fine.

Great idea. Those damn buckets!

Great idea, would be even better if you can fit some metal swivel casters under there, then you dont even need the hand truck.

And when you are done with them you can throw a couple woofers in them,
Boom Boom

Five gallon buckets are NOT what they used to be. If you find an old one, and compare it to a new one, you'd see what I mean.

Better yet, Stop a pool service guy and ask him for a chlorine tablet bucket. They are taller and have a screw lid. This will keep them air tight. I usually cut a piece of 3/4" plywood the same diameter as the inside of the bucket floor.

They fit Ford 9" metal buckets quite well also.
And you can drill a couple holes in the lip and bolt it to the can if you want to.

The older ones before they started modifying them to clear the internal pump but they will fit them as well.
Some of the plastic totes may need a shim made so gear dies not drop all way to bottom but it is not a big deal if it does.

You sure said a mouthful there.

Had a friend make one kind of like that but with a drain pan and tack welded 3/16 plate with a hole for it to fit and put some lube in it and turns it now and then
