When you look up specs on a specific trailer, and it says 26.5' is that just body of the camper, or is that total length from rear bumper to tip of the tongue? None of the specs actually specify which they are referencing.

looking at a 2011 Jayco 22FB, well just looked at one, the guy said it was 24' but I didnt have a tape with me, if you look it up online all the specs say 26'5".
With most of the camper brands, the model number seems to match the length, but apparently that's not the case with Jayco.

It is supposed to be on a bumper hitch from the rear of the bumper to the front of the hitch. Hutch is Usually 4 feet so u loose that of off the overall length. It I’ll say that is not always the case. Kim.

Agree with Kim...some people don't know how to properly measure and advertise a travel trailer, hence you get hitch to bumper measurements, and just the coach measurements. Take a tape measure or look for the certification (manufacturers) label(s)

I have a 25.5 foot Frontier Plainsman 5th wheel. My buddy has a 25.5 foot also, can’t remember the brand, but it is 2 feet shorter than mine. Kim

I have a Jayco also, should be a spec plate next to the door. If it's like mine the 22fb is a 22 foot cabin.

Kim....ours....
