I don't have a clue. Thank you.

Looks like a steering column mounted switch. Maybe a brake light switch or ignition switch.

That’s the backup light switch for 65 through about 68 or so (or whenever they changed to the 3 prong switch on the transmission) for column shift automatic cars. It mounts on the lower steering column and it moved by a peg on the column shifter shaft.

Per earlier threads, Internal parts of shifter mounted switch and column mounted switch were found to be interchangeable. Parts of one used to repair the other. That may be a reason to hang on to it.

They are pricy to replace.

100% sure... 67 dart column shift automatic backup light switch. May fit other years.

Some have a pigtail, some don't (just the two contacts). Mine has only the two contacts, but the wiring harness pigtail was cut off and is attached.

I found a number: 2661167

Neutral safety for column shift up thru 1968
The reverse light switch was a 1 wire switch on the trans up thru 1968. The 3 prong combination neutral safety/reverse light switch started in 1969.

I stand corrected, I knew it was something like that. Thought I remembered it correctly. My 67 is a manual shift, my sons is a 69
