Turp

No, but I had a kidney stone lasered to hell and back in 2017. I pissed fire for about two weeks. You will too.

Yep I had it done 2 months after my second knee replacement surgery. 2018, my year of three surgeries. Well worth the effort, a life changing event.

is it still on?
all my local hospitals are canceling non-emergency surgeries

I had a TURP several years ago. Mine was for enlarged prostate, inconvenient but not life threatening. Today, I wish I hadn't done it. As a result of the TURP, I was left incontinent and now have a urinary control device implanted in my scrotum and have to wear a leak pad. This is after three additional surgeries (2 to try and "fix" the TURP and one for the implant). As a function of using a laser, the outer sphincter muscle on the urethra gets destroyed. There is an inner sphincter muscle that is expected to take over but it did not work in my case. I was one of the 3% (if I remember the number correctly) that have problems.

Thanks guys. I am looking forward to this mostly. I have a few mixed emotions but this is for the better. 4spdragtop always called it my never ending pee. 5 minutes or so. And that’s with meds. Without it seemed forever. Kim

In my case it was a good success. The bladder cannot empty completely and the reamout opens up the urethra so one can empty completely. Side benefit is that they screen the shavings for cancer. Yes I said shavings.
