Would you take the money or the car?

I'd take the cash, expand the shop & still have money left for a couple more 4-doors.

I know nothing about the quality of restoration on that Charger but at a glance it appears to be well done. If so, it would probably easily sell for $50k so why not accept it, enjoy it for a bit and then sell it if you’re not a B body fan? Unless one doesn’t have the garage space or can’t afford the insurance, why not accept it?

Car, you will get taxed on either, but the car if properly restored can be enjoyed, and even if it looses value can be enjoyed.

If you have the money to pay the gift tax (lots of that) take the car other wise take the money and run

The car, although 50K would quickly fix a few things around here really well.

My Dad had a 69 charger but had to sell due to gas crunch before I was born. I'd definitely keep it and give it to my Dad.

Had a high school friend win a new corvette years ago, he sold everything he had to pay the taxes for the car.
He drove the car for a few years than sold it.

What, no hemi? lol Had a 68 I bought for $275, one of my favorite rides even tho a 318. Car, no question.

BTW should start a poll!

I'd take the car, so them I could have a set of two. :D

Take the car, paint it orange with a confederate flag on the roof and sell it for $100k...
Seriously, I'd take the money and do the same as Alaskan_TA said. I love Chargers, but I'd be afraid to actually drive the thing and I don't need another garage ornament.

Um, no question the Charger. I’d pretty much trade any and all my possessions for that car. Plus the color is right!

I would definitely take the car & have years of fun driving it. The money would be gone in a very short time.

Hands down the car. Even if the car market falls some, your still way a head. Plus a 2nd gen Charger. Geez don't even have to second guess it.

I would totally take the car. Odds are if you take the money, it would get spent on other things for the house, the wife, the kids etc

yup, the car
a month from now, it will either be worth 100K or you will have the perfect car to ride out into the apocalypse with

It would depend on the quality of restoration the car has, but I'm leaning towards the Charger! 65'
