e body door handle on a body?

has anyone ever tried to take a cuda or challenger door handle and put it on a duster or dart?
if so what were the challenges?
will it work?
what is needed besides door handles?
also there's different e body door handles flat and curved?
which one is which?
 
Have wondered about this myself since my sedan delivery conversion is pretty custom as it is.
 
Im sure it wouldnt be too hard. Would have to fabricate the lock rod and latch rods. The contour of the door could be an issue since the E body door handle is slightly convex.
