Drag Strip owner sued to open

Saturday and Sunday is sold out. There is going to be some noise from Firebird this weekend.

Thunder Valley Raceway opened in eastern South Dakota 2 weeks ago and are running their full schedule as planned with no restrictions that I’ve noted. Oahe Speedway in central SoDak will open as scheduled Memorial Day weekend. They have stated some “conditions” on their FB page including no spectators will be admitted.

either way out here in the sunny hot west the China virus decimated our race season.... I got in 6 points races before the poo hit the blades. I’ve also seen some of the “possible” rules for when Vegas is allowed to open and truthfully, it doesn’t look good. CA..... can’t see when that’ll happen. Either way, I’ve pulled the plug on the season.
 
I don't know when ohio tracks open but horse tracks have opened go figure if anybody knows about social distancing is drag racers plenty of room in staging lanes you have room in stands and on fences too national events are a different story they act like we are stupid and have to hold our hands rant over.
 
Originally I had heard that they was gonna open our local track by appointment only with certain limit of cars but now I'm hearing there not gonna do that idk. I was told that it was gonna cost more to open the track and they wouldnt be able to make enough to keep it open with x amount of cars per night. I guess we will see. I sure hope they will open it at some point I'd love to go watch some racing
 
My brother and I and his boys were taking his boat out he just bought and drove past the drag strip here in Idaho and they were racing on Saturday, few people in the seats but a lot of cars it looked like were there. But Idaho has begun to open too.
 
Well keystone opened up Saturday for their first state allowed test n tune. They sold out both sessions of 15 cars in both four hour sessions at 256.00 a piece. One Mopar racer posted that he got 11 passes and could have gotten more but ran out of fuel. Lol. I hope they sell out both Saturday and Sunday sessions this weekend but there are some nice races out of State this weekend.
 
I chatted with Tri State Speedway in Pocola, Oklahoma last night, and they said they've been open since the 9th of May. Dirt track but what's the diff ?
 
I hope there are some bad *** Mopars laying down antisocial distancing at the track
 
Hypoxia will be a test and tune with no spectators allowed.
All new timing equipment and all new wiring, all the way down the track with a New Scoreboard.............hope we don't have to many glitches with the new system........fingers, toes, and everything else i can think of crossed.

It will be nice to have a mid track sensor(1/8 mile) that we have had for a couple years! Now the new wiring is incorporated with all the rest, and finally show up on are time slips.
