So when I bought my Cuda last December, it had Strange drag brakes on it and I just converted over to Wilwoods for the street. My question is, is there a market for used drag brakes? Thanks.

Theres a market for everything. Id post them up im sure you'll get a buyer if the price ia fair.

Absolutely! Post up a sale thread and hold on tight. Rotors, hubs, calipers and brackets? a couple hundred or more would be reasonable.

Thanks, yes, it’s a complete set. Just wasn’t sure what a price point might be.

There should be part #'s on everything and you can look them up on Strange's site.

Pics would be needed. And a part number or description of the spindle and/or housing ends so someone knows what they fit.

Used race car parts do not hold their value well. Quality parts that aren't worn out or beat to death should be desirable though.

Thanks. I have someone that is interested, but will list in Classifieds if it doesn’t work out.

I have them on my car. They cost about $600 new 10 years ago. If they are in good shape, rotors not warped and pads ok they should be worth $300 at least. What bolt pattern and spindles were they on, they make a few different ones. Great brakes for a drag car, but they are not designed for the heat street brakes generate.

The parts are in good condition and only available because I am replacing them with street brakes. Thanks again.

The car was built as a drag car, but very streetable and am converting to a street/strip car. Pro Street of sorts, but not tubbed. I’ve done some price comparisons and $300 would be a bit light. Thanks for the input.
