My son picked up a 2020 Hellcat yesterday. He traded in his 2018 Scat pack, which was a very impressive car to say the least. I can't even imagine what the Hellcat is like, as I have never driven or been in one. Can't wait for him to cruise by, as he is pretty good at throwing me the keys. I told him to make sure it is the "Red" key. :)

Well its now official, I have driven a Hellcat. And all I can say is WOW !!!!! I though the Scat pack was a beast, and it is. But the Hellcat is on a whole new level. All I can say is you better be holding on and have it straight before that supercharger kicks in, because I could see how you could get out of shape real quick. When you get on it, the car will pin you in your seat. The powerband is exhilarating, and the roar from the exhaust is nothing short of amazing. Fantastic car, Dodge has a winner. And now, I couldn't even imagine the Demon. :)

Nice purchase!! Is it an auto or manual?

I had a blast flogging a 6sp Hellcat Widebody (with red key) around a track for over 400 miles. Averaged 3.5mpg during my 400+ miles. Turning off the traction control nanny proved to produce severe smoke shows coming out of a 90 degree corner in 2nd gear many, many times. :steering:

A friend of mine and fellow retired firefighter bought a 2019 red eye hell cat about 8 months ago. I’m waiting on my ride along in it. Damn thing was 92K.

Automatic...Most Kids don't know how to shift gears nowadays. Kind of sad.
Having said that, I'm ok with the auto. Using the slap shifter or paddle shifting is a blast. Cool story you have at the track. I drifted a nice right hander today, one arm out the window, the other hand on the paddle shifter. Wahoooo !!!!!

Wow that is awesome!! I work with a guy that owns one it is quite impressive!

Can you get them without badging? I want a sleeper.

I've driven a 392 with a 6 SPD, and it was impressive. I've also driven my brother's 70 SS454 Chevelle with around 600 hp. I'm waiting for someone I know to buy a Hellcat or a 2020 GT500 Shelby.........patiently waiting........lol

Nice Scat...That Jeep had to be a bad boy, because the Scat pack is no joke. Pretty cool your wife gets after it. :)

Good son !! Tell him to be careful !

I can’t even imagine what insurance would be on something like that for a young person much less the payment. Really cool car tho. Looks tough. I like.

I love our 2018 T/A 392, has the 8spd auto and is a total blast to drive...couldn’t imagine having a hellcat!!

Have no idea on insurance, never asked.
