Picked up a hood scoop at mopar shootout in sacramento last week. It has four studs(all four corners) but i dont want to drill holes if i can help it. Some new ones come with adhesive to attach to hood. is this available to buy without the scoop? The scoop is open in front if that matters. It is for looks only ,on hole for air. It has a 3/16" rim all the way around(all three sides).

Imo- No matter the adhesive, at speed I'd worry that the scoop being open (not sure how high it sits above your hood) would grab air, launch into your windshield and land in a brazillion pieces if it doesn't hit someone behind you.

69 bee I had with a lift off. 4 pins one on each corner. I forgot to clip them. At about 45 -50 MPH it was gone in a flash.

Show us a picture of what you bought. If you don't like it after its on don't bolt it. Then just take it up to about 45-50 MPH.

There are adhesives that will work for gluing a scoop to a hood but the problem is getting a what I assume is a fiberglass scoop to stick to a metal hood it will work for a time but it will also crack and delaminate over time, so to be safe I would drill the holes in the hood, or what about getting a second hood that's in good shape and install the scoop on that hood and save your original hood if you ever want to go back to stock

Panel bond it and send it. Worst case it gets expensive, best case it stays on.

If i can find a reasonable priced hood, i would cut a hole AND bolt it down. That is why i ask questions this site gives the answers. Thanks to all Joe

It is for looks only ,on hole for air.

If that's the case, I would bolt it. That is a lot of air being pushed in with nowhere to go. IF you had a hole in the hood (somewhere for the air to go) it might stay using adhesive, but I still wouldn't trust it.

I glued my scoop on with panel adhesive from the auto body store. Then glassed it into the hood.

I plan on waiting ,to find a second hood. I agree a LOT of air going in and no place to go.
