Went the the doc yesterday, and she decided "x rays" In a week it'll be 2 months since I broke my ribs, and I'm still in some pain and limited. Plus a week ago I tried going to bed instead of my recliner to sleep. Rolled over and hurt "something." Anyhow the X ray outfit says I have "healing fractures" in other words "it sure ain't over." And it doesn't take long!!! doing ANYTHING physical to get sore "over there."

I'm sure tired of this!!! I got stuff to do!!

The other issue with this deal is it has STOPPED!!! any sort of damn poor exercise/ activity I used to get. My poor condition is getting way poorer. Noticably more stiff in my arms and other joints in the morning.

Anyhow, the "boat works" or any other mechanics is DONE-for for the year!!

Then let it be done. Find something different to take your time up. You need to get well.

Been through it, you need to rest. Every time you do something to aggravate the ribs, just adds time to healing. It sucks I know, I spent about six weeks sleeping in a recliner. Hang in there.

You are just out of whack and have a slight case of fuckeddupiness. Suck it up and stay busy doing something!!

That's the trouble!!! Everything "stay busy" is damaging to the ribs!! LOLOL

Hate to hear this Del

Does even taking a walk set you back? Not really something to keep you busy, but at least keep you moving?

I haven't been able to walk much for years, my knees, mostly, and also hips and ankles. I used to ride recumbent bikes/ trikes, but a couple years ago even that was getting really "lame" as I had to gear down so much.

I'm sure you remember when we met over at pull and save or whatever. That work when I got home that day ended my day. I was ready for a LONG rest after all that rolling around on the ground and the rest of it LOL

Ah, gotcha. That sucks.

I do remember that day. It was a lot of work.
