lexan is for fiber glass doors there is a kit to install them on the doors. available here

A 4 inch hole is cut in the window to open the door using a lever system. these are also available at the site above.
This hole is to open the door or reach through the hole to get the slip.
Depending on how fast you go cabin pressure can cause a disaster. My sons friend Frank found out first hand . Metal doors with regulators use glass.
Fast cars do need a way to release cabin pressure with lexan or fiber glass doors. Blow a window or door out can cause a disaster. Look close, First the window blew out then it took the door off , That turned the car.
