Semi local pick a part has a 64 Valiant. They wanted $55 for a grill with no emblem and $190 each for the quarter panels. I was wondering if these where high like they felt to me or if I am getting cheap in my old age. The grill was pretty straight the quarters had some rust behind the wheel wells on one side but were decent.

All I can say is...
The parts are not being reproduced. The grill sounds ok.

LOL.... I'm in Ohio you should buy the whole car! Something like that around here was dust 30 years ago. So in my book, hell yea if you need it you better get it.

Those prices are really quite good.

I've got a 65 so I don't need the grill. My quarters are rotten and smashed. That's an exaggeration. My car was rear ended at some point and the repair work on the left side wasn't great plus cancer in the usual places in addition to cancer from the poor body work. I went to check it out, see what they looked like and what they wanted for them. I would need to buy a cordless angle grinder to cut them off. I am also a bit concerned about fit. 64 to 65 I thought they were the same but I noticed some differences. Mostly in the trunk but it gave me pause. Over all the car is too nice to be in a yard. Looks like it took a hit to the front left and they replaced the drivers door. V8 with a two barrel Carter I think. Left fender is junk. A little rust here and there. Link below.

It is in a second section and the prices are higher than those listed on the website.

I happily paid 125.00 fir a 67 dart grill, not perfect.

125 for a quarter seems ok as long as it is rust free. Especially if it has the molding / taillights etc still attached.

Just looked it over, it's a very repairable car. I'd see if you could buy the whole thing and use yours for parts if it's worse off. It would make your job simpler.

Prices seem fair. I'd suggest using a battery operated recip saw. It will be faster, just cut away from the part that you actually need and separate things when you get home. I did that with some inner fenders from a '68 Dart.

@moparmat2000 Actually it would make my job twice as hard because then I would have two projects and not one. If bought it I wouldn't have the heart to chop it up. Not sure they would sell the whole thing. I am also not sure if they can. This is CA and sometimes they go to the yard to get them off the road for air quality reasons. Oh god! I'm thinking about buying it. You bastard.
@Jim Lusk. I was thinking I would need the angle grinder to do the work once I had the pieces.

What's one more project!

Don't they crush the smog trade in cars?
